Star Products, Packed Gangways and Fierce Culinary Competition as Coup de pates Connects with UK Chefs!

A Landmark Event for Coup de pates UK

Representing the company’s first outing since its rebrand from Delice de France and showcasing its specialist of Semi-Prepared products, aimed at Chefs. Our collaborative team of Development Chefs worked tirelessly to produce an enigmatic display of craft and intrigue.

A principal supplier in France for half a century with a fearsome reputation for unmatched quality and innovation, Coup de Pates chose 2015 and the UK’s largest hospitality tradeshow of the year to reconnect with British foodservice and show UK chefs just some of the incredible products they have been missing out on. Throughout the three day show its brigade of UK and French-based chefs channelled the spirit of Entete Cordiale to keep the stand buzzing with visitors keen to see their sublime skills and sample some fantastic creations. Creating fresh ideas using our products, challenging chefs on how our products can work within their kitchens and demonstrating why caterers should be excited by Coup de pates. 


As core sponsor for fine dining chef team challenge, La Parade des Chefs, and two patisserie and canapé Live Theatre contests, part of world-famous culinary competition, Salon Culinaire, Coup de pates wasted no time rolling up its sleeves and getting back amongst the chef community. 

Throughout the show Coup de pates, proud sponsors of the Junior Team Talent Challenge at La Parade des Chefs 2015, demonstrated the wonderful young talented brigades strive for greatness and create an inspirational 3 course menu for attendees to sample, under the watchful scrutiny of the Salon Culinaire judges.


Gold Award: University College Birmingham - (Mathew Shropshall, Edward Marsh, Jack Gameson, Michael West, Anna Claringbull, Luke Dcaccia) 

On the Live Theatre Stage we witnessed the extraordinary skills of our competitors making their mark on our sponsored Patisserie Challenge and Canape Class. By utilising our selection of semi-prepared products available to them they created show-stopping desserts.



Winner of the Patisserie Challenge - Chef John Bowler from Bournemouth & Poole College (Silver - Best in Class); takes the podium with Michel Bernardin (Chef Dir. Coup de pates, FR), Thierry Cacaly (MD of Coup de pates, UK) and Chef Dir. for Salon Culinaire, James Tanner. 


The other winners on the day were Jordan Paris, Warner Leisure Hotels (Bronze); Jess Wiltshire, Bournemouth & Poole College (Merit)

VIP Rebrand Launch Drinks Reception - La Parade des Chefs was also the venue for a very special Tuesday evening VIP event, where guests were treated to Champagne and an array of exclusive new products. Our tireless team of Development chefs from Coup de pates took centre stage mastering the open kitchen to showcase their talents for thier guests with an inspired culinary menu. 


Managing Director of Aryzta Food Solutions, Thierry Cacaly, summed up the post show feeling, saying:

When we began our journey on rebranding and reconnecting with chefs, we looked ahead to The Hospitality Show as the perfect event to help us get back in the game.
