‘Travelling Creator’ Finds a Home at Coup de pates
Fabrice Prochasson, one time holder of the legendary Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France), the country’s very highest pastry honour, has joined Coup de pates as Director of Creation and Innovation.

Nicknamed the ‘travelling creator’ in lieu of a gastronomic history which has seen him ply his trade in New York, Beijing, Tokyo and Athens, alongside his French homeland, Fabrice joins the super-premium foodservice supplier, with the UK market firmly in his sights.

Coup de pates launched into UK foodservice at the very beginning of 2014 on a mission to bring the very highest quality bakery ingredients and finished goods to the country’s chefs. The 1996 winner of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France will be tasked with building on the company’s innovative portfolio of products, using his wealth of experience and unique vision to further push the boundaries of what’s possible in frozen bakery.

Fabrice comments: “I’m delighted to join Coup de pates – a name held in such high regard with so many chefs in France, now making waves in the UK. This country, specifically, is in the middle of something very special, it’s an amazing time to be a chef and involved with food – the levels of  knowledge and innovation have never been so high, which is one of the reasons I just had to be a part of it. Fabrice will be demoing live in the UK for the very first time when Coup de pates return to Omnivore World (21st-23rd October 2016) a three day festival of cooking demonstrations, pop-up restaurants and parties taking place across East London.
